A downloadable game for Windows

It’s Halloween 2002, and you’re spending it cooped up inside, glued to your computer like always. An email comes in from an address you barely recognize. P. Connor… wasn’t that one of the guys you went to college with? You haven’t spoken to him in years…

You open the email.

ONCE YOU START READING THIS YOU CANNOT STOP DONT DELETE THIS MESSAGE DONT LOOK AWAY DO NOT IGNORE OR A TERRIBLE FATE WILL BEFALL YOU. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

In 1995 a virtual pinball game was created to bring the classic game of pinball to computer screen. It was very popular but what people didn’t know was that its popularity and success was not gotten by usual means. The games creator made a deal with the devil to get his game to be successful, but he didn’t realize what price he would pay. Now the devil lives in his game and any player that cannot beat it will DIE!!!1!! You have to beat the DEVIL’S high score of 666 in order to survive but if you fail you will never be seen again alive! IT IS ALREADY TOO LATE FOR YOU> TO SURVIVE either beat the game or send to a friend and hope to GOD they can beat it for you!!! GOD rest your souls!

At the bottom of the email is an executable file. It must be the “demonic” pinball game. You eye the download button. Why are you so nervous? It’s just a stupid game. Whoever started this chain email doesn’t even know how to write a compelling game description.

You hover your mouse over the attachment. What are you waiting for? Your anti-virus software isn’t flagging anything. It’s not like you have anything else going on tonight. So… are you going to play it?

Of course you are.

You don’t have a choice.
